This traditional German style lager is brewed in the Winter and aged for many weeks to give the beer a smooth mellow flavor. It is usually tapped around the month of May (Mai is the German word for May) to celebrate the arrival of Spring and warm sunny days. The Maibock is a malty, sweet, full-bodied beer with just enough hop character to balance out the malt.

Our version of a Belgian-style specialty ale is a Humperdink's original. This brew starts with generous amounts of Belgian pale wheat and two row, is then traditionally fortified with sugar during the boil, and finally fermented with a Trappist ale yeast. This unique yeast produces many of the complex fruity esters and spicy characteristics often found in hefeweizens. We filter the finished beer to give this golden ale its' "crystal" appearance. Enjoy this limited release while it's still available.

Dark brown in color, this beer leans more towards malt character with almost indiscernible hop presence. However, unlike its’ tamer sibling, Jackie’s Brown, Jackie’s Imperial Brown is much more aggressive in alcohol coming in at 6.5% by volume.
